Lexus of Pleasanton is a proud 20 year supporter of the Blackhawk Chorus

You may have not known that Lexus of Pleasanton has been a proud supporter of The Blackhawk Chorus since it was founded in 1991. 2011 represents their 20th year of performing throughout the Bay Area and around the globe. Comprised of 140 talented men and women and directed by Diane Gilfether, a critically acclaimed performer and classical singer, the Chorus has performed in Rome, Florence, Vienna, Salzburg, Prague, London, Scotland, Wales and at Avery Fisher Hall at New York’s Lincoln Center. The Chorus performs two concert series annually; a Spring Concert Series that features the music of Broadway and tributes to great performers of the past, and a Holiday Concert Series showcasing songs of the season. A proud sponsor of the Sam Pelicas Memorial Golf Classic


Lexus of Pleasanton & the Pleasanton Automall were a proud Silver Sponsor of the The Luso-American Education Foundation Sam Pelicas Memoral Golf Classic! This event took place on Sept 17, 2010 at the Willow Park Golf Course.  The Luso-American Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides academic scholarships to eligible students attending colleges, universities and vocational schools.  This year the Foundation gave over $70,100 to 83 deserving students.  We were happy to support such a great cause.

Congratulations 2010 Oakland Bay Area Links Debuatante's!


Congratulations to the 2010 Debutante's of the Oakland Bay Area Links' 55th Annual Cotillion!  These special Debutante's will be celebrated during a special evening "A Legacy of Elegance", being held December 18th, 2010 at the San Francisco Marriott. This Cotillion is a tradition that celebrates the achievements of promising African-American women and marks their passage into adulthood. Lexus of Pleasanton is a proud sponsor of the Moraga Open taking place Aug 3rd to Aug 8th, 2010!


Lexus of Pleasanton is a proud to be a Corporate Patron Sponsor of the the Moraga Open tennis tournament taking place Aug 3rd through Aug 8, 2010. Originally called the Stead Open was conceived as the NorCal Sectionals in 1980 and relocated to Moraga Country Club in 1983. Since it's inception, it has grown significantly in spectator participation, player involvement and prize money.


In 1986, the tournament became known as the Stead Open with the involvement of Stead Motors as the major sponsor and the prize money increased from $2,000 to $10,000. This resulted in the tournament earning its way to being considered a very prestigious tennis event. In addition to the increase in prize money, the tournament joined the ranks of open section status which allowed the tournament to draw from a much larger geographic area.

Since 1986, there have been several increases in prize money from $10,000 to the $25,000 currently held as the purse, placing the Moraga Open among the highest prize money open sectional tournaments in the nation . As the prize money has increased, so has both the quantity and quality of players.

The Moraga Open has received very favorable press over the years. In 1990, Inside Tennis voted the Moraga Open the tournament of the 80’s. In 1993, the Moraga Open was recognized as one of the most prestigious Open tournaments in the nation and was featured as such in Tennis Magazine., This magazine has the largest circulation of any tennis magazine. The Moraga Open has received consistent press in Inside Tennis as well as local coverage in the Contra Costa Times and most recently on KGO Radio.

The ALL new 2010 Lexus RX350


The RX 350 is all-new for 2010. In addition to a new 6-speed Multi Modeautomatic transmission, it also receives a revised, more powerful 275-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 engine with dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) for improved performance and fuel efficiency. A uniquely designed double-wishbone rear suspension improves handling while increasing usable room in the cargo area.


Inside, the RX has a newly available Remote Touch device with voice control that can understand casual speech, plus available XM NavTraffic and XM NavWeather, an SUV-first. And rear-seat passengers can enjoy a new dual-screen DVD Rear Seat Entertainment System that's capable of showing video from two independent sources.

Parchment, Light Gray and Black interior colors are offered, with standard Brown Walnut or Espresso Bird's-Eye Maple interior trim. Nine exterior colors are available, including an all-new Cerulean Blue Metallic, plus new-for-RX Tungsten Pearl, Starfire Pearl, Black Sapphire Pearl and Obsidian.
